Estrella Ayahuasca - Norma Panduro'S CenteR a Sacharuna Clinic CENTER Facility
Curandera Norma Panduro Navarro passed away September 29th, 2007 in the Hospital Apoyo - Iquitos. On her first Commemoration Anniversary - September 29th, 2008 - Sacharuna Clinic Center (SCC) agreed with the family's wishes and thereafter signed a contract to take over and guard Norma's Ayahuasca Estrella Center, becoming our first own official facility where we will continue Norma's work together with her spirit that allowed us this to happen: to achieve successfully our goals with reverence to her treasured legacy, holding on to her name to be remembered as well as the name of her centre, along with all the positive energies and spirits surrounding and related to this magical place. We're very happy that our fellow Sacharuna Clinic Team member: Roy van der Meijs has been a close friend of Norma and spent much time collaborating and learning from her as a faithful disciple; he now has joined forces with us in this wonderful Centre with the knowledge and wisdom he gained personally from Norma, his beloved teacher.

BREAKING NEWS: Peru declares - ayahuasca - part of cultural heritage: JULY, 11th 2008
The Government of Peru declared the traditional knowledge and the use of Ayahuasca practiced by the indigenous communities of the Amazon forest to be national cultural patrimony.
The decision of the peruvian Government, signed by the Director of the National Institute of Culture, Javier Ugaz Villacorta, was published on the Saturday edition of the country’s official daily newspaper, El Peruano.
On the declaration of recognition, the Peruvian Government says that Ayahuasca has psychotropic qualities, acting on the psychic level, the mental activity, the behaviour, the perception, and is known all over the world as an indigenous plant that transmits spiritual knowledge.
